There comes a time, and it happens often for us, that we make a piece of material that we just cannot bear to slice up for the sake of wallet-making. Some pieces have an innate beauty which simply need to be preserved in their entirety. As our collection has grown, we wanted to make a few of these beauties available to others. These particular pieces of trash need to be proudly displayed.
In order to make this garbage art available, we now have an etsy store!
Don’t be alarmed, our regular online shop isn’t going anywhere.
We hope that the new etsy store will allow for us a forum to post some of the weirder and more experimental things that get made in our shop. We have a habit of making some strange and special wallets for ourselves to test new processes, images, etc and we will now be making a lot of these one-offs and prototypes available.
There is a vibrant community of makers and creators over in the wide world of etsy and we didn’t want to turn our backs upon them. For now there are but a few framed masterpieces available, but we will be gradually adding more things in the coming weeks.
There’s plenty of garbage out there posing as art, why not own the real thing?
Remember back in the year twenty-twelve when Lincoln was huge? The guy was trending hard and deservedly so. Winning an Oscar and hunting vampires all in one year is a solid accomplishment for man who has already given us so much. It feels like just yesterday, but it wasn’t - it was a solid two years ago and though not nearly as long ago as real Lincoln (150 yrs) it’s still been quite a while. We’ve got some great things rolling out for ya in 2014 and want to give a shout out and thanks to our main man Abe.
Who knows where we’d be if he didn’t clear up that vampire situation.
We've just added an all-new features page where you can go to learn about the different sizes and capacities of our products to help you decide which is right for you. There is also important information on how to break in the heat seals for a custom fit.
Ryan E. Venghaus has been with Providence Plastic for a while now. But with the launch of this website it is necessary for a formal introduction. Since joining the team he has completely transformed our material, lending his own personal designs to grace their surface. You may notice several items in our shop tagged REVENGHAUS. Many of these pieces contain original work, often on-of-a-kind, penned, or printed directly to the material.
